Alison Cork

MBE, lifestyle entrepreneur, author & broadcaster

Alison Cork MBE is a British lifestyle entrepreneur, author and broadcaster. In 2023 she was awarded an MBE for services to female entrepreneurship.

Most recently she published Fit & Fabulous Over 50: how to rewire your second act, showcasing everything she learned about health and wellness to find a new lease of life in her second act.

Prior to that, Alison ran several lifestyle businesses. The original Home In The Country series in the 1990’s was filmed in her own cottage in Wales and was a celebration of a natural life. That goal has never changed – lifestyle and health are inextricably entwined as Alison believes if you are healthy, you can enjoy life to the fullest.

Parallel to her own business activities, Alison has long been focused on inspiring a new generation of entrepreneurs and founded not for profit organisations Make it Your Business (2017) and National Women’s Enterprise Week (2023) to support and encourage female founders. She is an Ambassador for the British Library Business & IP Centre and sits on the Advisory Councils of the British Library and The Jobs Foundation.

Her new healthy snack, LEKA LEKA, will launch this Spring from selected Kauai Cafes in Virgin Active Gyms and online.
