Eve Cameron

Yoga teacher, journalist and former Group Beauty Director at Hearst

Yoga teacher, journalist and former Group Beauty Director at Hearst Lifestyle and Associate Editor/Beauty Director at Good Housekeeping will share breathwork and meditation insights and techniques.

Eve Cameron is yoga teacher based in Wiltshire. It’s her second career. Her first, which spanned 35 years, was in journalism, working mainly as an editor in women’s magazines. These included household names such Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping and Red, where she specialised in beauty, wellbeing and general features.  She is also the author of four wellness-focussed books and has appeared on numerous TV programmes from This Morning to Sky News.

‘I was captivated by yoga from my very first class nearly 40 years ago,’ says Eve. ‘Back then I didn’t know why the sequences of poses (asana) and breathwork (pranayama) created such a profound sense of wellbeing, calm, balance, spaciousness and, sometimes, even joy in me – they just did.’

Those early classes set her on a winding path of exploration of different styles of yoga and meditation. Then, six years ago, alongside her day job, she trained and qualified as a yoga teacher. In 2024 she stepped away from journalism to focus fully on her teaching. You can find Eve at Salisbury Yoga Studio and online at evecameronyoga.com.
